John's areas of interest
John’s deep passion for experience design and principles has lead to countless conversations, diving deep into design philosophy, processes and the industry.
John believes schools should be allowed to provide robust creative-problem solving theory and practice, especially in K-12 settings, aligned with real-world expectations.
Most schools and systems around the world place art and design at the bottom of the pyramid. John believes this needs to change considering how tech is shaping our lives.
Education needs reshaping to meet today’s demands, especially when many young students aim to pursue a tech-related career, or given the fact they’re immersed in tech daily. Education systems need to meet this demand.
John believes design brings people together and helps build stronger communities, where individuals contribute to the solving of complex problems.
Perhaps John’s strongest area of interest these days, is the idea that more smart people need to move into a tech career. Empowering people to explore such a career is evermore important given the options and pathways available.
